About Paul

 

Paul was born into a family who on his Mum’s side where involved in Spiritualism and Spiritual healing and involvement with The Spiritualist National Union (SNU). It didn’t come to much of a surprise to Paul’s family when he was found talking to people that no one else could see or hear at an early age. The first signs that Paul had found his gifts where showing at the age of 4.

This to Paul was somewhat natural probably just like walking, he never really questioned what he could see hear or sense, as to his knowledge everyone had the ability. Paul remembers an incident at primary school and has never lived down to this day, how he used to play in the school playground with his best friend. His best friend told Paul that he wasn’t feeling very well and was going to go inside early before the whistle blew. Moments later the whistle blew and it was time to go in. Paul was quite a sensitive child and as soon as he got into his class asked the teacher where Luke was. Paul remembers his teacher shaking his head and walking off not really understanding what Paul meant, Paul persisted to find out where Luke was. After a while the Teacher told Paul there was no one in the Class called Luke what on Earth are you talking about!!! Paul somewhat frustrated at this situation burst into tears and caused the biggest commotion in the school. The children in Paul’s class started to laugh at him, Paul could not understand, Paul realised after a while that Luke was one of Paul’s special friends that no one else could see. Luke had always dressed in the same uniform as Paul too. When Paul looks back he can now see how obvious that Luke was a spirit person.

Another occasion saw Paul being sent off to the head teacher’s office, A supply teacher had come to help the class out, whilst Paul was settling into doing his work he could see a man trying to get this ladies attention, Paul was only too happy to get involved and start asking the teacher why she was ignoring the man, what man? Paul started to explain who he was and then said it’s your Dad. This Teacher went out the class room in tears, which got Paul upset as he did not know what he had done wrong. It was revealed that 7 weeks previous this teachers Dad had died. Paul at the age of 8 was sat down by one of his great Aunties and was told exactly about the gift he had. He was also told that it was important that he didn’t go round telling everyone as they wouldn’t understand. This kind of went over Paul’s head as this was something that came to him quite natural, but he got the general gist.

At the age of 9 Paul noticed a slight change he couldn’t see or hear the Spirit world but could only sense them and this was pretty much the way how it was left up until the of 11. Paul found it very hard to mix with other children at school and was continuously being bullied at high school. Maybe his peers could sense something different about Paul? Eventually One of Paul’s Great Aunties suggested that he should go to a Spiritualist church for Spiritual healing. Paul started going every Monday night; this opened the doors to Paul’s pathway. The healing wasn’t just balancing Paul’s Chakra’s and Aura but was making him stronger as a Medium. Paul felt the urge to send out healing himself and was always asked by family members for Paul to give Spiritual healing to members of the family whenever he went to visit them. At the age of 12 Paul sat in a Spiritualist church for the very first time to watch a demonstration of Medium ship. When the medium was giving her demonstration Paul could see and hear the departed relatives of friends and family of hopeful recipients in the church, It came to Paul as a shock that this Medium that was working could not hear and see the people that Paul was seeing. Paul noticed this on quite a few different occasions. Paul Then started to speak out quite allot and tell the mediums he saw that they were not real, this got Paul into trouble at the church as he was going head to head with some well respected mediums that had been going to the church for years, but he was not bothered as he knew what was right. Paul felt angry for the people who were being passed on messages by these so called mediums when all they were doing was using techniques called cold reading and guessing. Paul believes that every 6 mediums/psychics he comes across is a fraud, and holds no boundaries when letting them know that he knows what they are about.

Paul’s gifts where kind of going out of control as he was seeing hearing the spirit world all the time and he knew that they where distracting him from his studies. Paul started attending an awareness class which he was told to leave after a period of time as the Medium didn’t like the fact that Paul was developing very quickly, this left Paul once again in limbo. Paul used his own methods to try and keep the spirit world at bay; he wasn’t just dealing with eager spirit people trying to get through but negative entities to.

An incident at high school which would shape Paul’s pathway to becoming a developed medium. Paul was practicing the keyboard in the music room, when he encountered an aggressive entity. This entity angrily knocked his books and bag from a workbench beside Paul. This spirit troubled him for several weeks and this prompted Paul to seek assistance from his spirit guides at the time, with their guidance Paul and a medium that he trusted managed to send this entity towards the light. Since then Paul sat in many development circles and dedicated his time and energy week in and week out sitting for the world of spirit. It was through a channelling (trance) experiment that Paul became aware of his 2 main spirit helpers. Paul found himself back in the company of Luke. Luke is a Victorian boy who is an orphan, he particularly works with Paul when he serves Spiritualist churches or does demonstrations of mediumship in theatres or clubs. His job is to lift up the energies to provide greater communication with the spirit world; Luke is also known to work with children who are ill in hospital and guide those children who do pass over to the spirit to where they need to go. Luke has an extremely overpowering personality and always loves to laugh and joke. He causes havoc with electrical appliances, sometimes Luke’s personality can rub off onto Paul if he gets too close to his Aura which can land Paul in trouble. Paul’s other guide is a Rabbi who made himself known to Paul in a trance demonstration of mediumship.

Paul did his very first church service at the age of 14 and has been demonstrating to the public for 12 years. Paul has been featured in magazines such as Chat its Fate, and has made TV apearences whilst working alongside Antix Productions with Karl Beattie on Most Haunted and the Great Unexplained debate. He is also a regular guest on 2BR radio, he goes on here to give psychic readings to listeners who phone in and answers questions that they may have.
